Default Spawn over but still cool temps

Right now at my local lake the spawn is pretty much over but we have water temps less than 65 degrees. Would the crappie still be shallow or do you think they would be dropping back into deeper water? Having trouble locating them right now.

I have been picking up a few here and there shallow, but like you said the spawn is over. Only finding really small fish shallow. The fish that I've been finding have been in the 8' to 12' range, but they are not very eager to bite.

Got out a little last week, dont have a whole lot to say about the crappie bite, I found a few spots with fish but not alot of takers. Have been doing fairly well with the gills, I think they will really turn on in next couple weeks.

    Default Ohio Spawn

The fish I've been on are still packing eggs. The water temp has been hovering 58-62. Seems were getting one warm day and then one cold day filled with north winds and rain. As soon as we get a couple days of warmer temps in a row, they''ll be a mad rush for the banks. Just in time for the holiday fisherman to become a expert on crappie again this year...lol.
