Truman Lake crappie tournament

June 7th. 6:30am to 3:00pm. Shriner's open buddy tournament Long Shoal Marina. $90 per boat with $10 big fish side pot. This is put on by the Golden Valley Shrine club out of Clinton ,MO

No just made the mistake trying to take out of the same ramp, had to park off the road leading to the ramp. I have heard that it usually is a good one.

That was probally the first Shriners tournament of the year. They have one just before there two day bass tournament that draws alot of boats. This one should have around 40 to 50.

It may have been, the regatta permit says 200 boats.

I seen they are having a Crestliner CX 17 for a draw boat. They may get more boats entered than I thought. Long Shoal marina. 1. No trailering. 2. No trolling{spidder rigging}. 3. Life jacket with big motor running. 4. Kill switch if equiped. 5. No fishing 50 yards of public dock. 6. No dead fish will be weighed. 7. seven fish per boat will be weighed. 8.Boat numbers must be displayed at all times. 9. one person from each team must attend the pre tournament meeting on Friday at 7 pm. at Long Shoal shelter house. 10. late fee of $10 after may 31st. 12. RULES
1. NO TRAILERING.
2. NO TROLLING (SPIDERFISHING).
3. LIFE JACKETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES BIG MOTOR IS RUNNING.
4. KILL SWITCHES MUST BE ON IF BOAT IS SO EQUIPPED.
5. NO FISHING WITHIN 50 YARDS OF A PUBLIC DOCK, GAS PUMPS, MARINA, OR ANOTHER CONTESTANTS BOAT THAT IS ANCHORED OR TIED UP.
6. NO DEAD FISH WILL BE WEIGHED.
7. WE WILL WEIGH 7 FISH PER BOAT.
8. BOAT NUMBERS MUST BE DISPLAYED AT ALL TIMES.
9. LIVE OR ARTIFICIAL BAIT CAN BE USED.
10. Boater or buddy must attend pre- tournament meeting Friday night @ Long Shoal Shelter House,7PM.
11. LATE FEE OF $10.00 PER BOAT AFTER MAY 31, 2008.
12. NO LATE CHECK-IN FOR ANY REASON. AT CHECK-IN BOAT

LONG SHOAL MARINA & RESTAURANT WILL OPEN AT 4:30 A.M. TO SERVE YOU BREAKFAST, ALONG WITH ICE, BEER, COFFEE, AND SNACKS.
THE MARINE REPAIR SHOP WILL OPEN AT 9:AM TO HELP YOU IN ANY WAY THEY CAN.
