    Default Lower Osage again!

What a beautiful day we had for fishin huh? My boy and I got out on the water at 7:30am this mornin and headed back in at 11:00am. We got our 2 limits in pretty descent time. We caught all of on some flats feedin on shad about 30-40 foot off a bluff. It was about 10-12ft deep and they were 4-6ft down. We had 28 females and 2 males, the smallest one was 10 1/2inches. We caught the majority of them on White/Chart slab busters with nibbles and several on Chart/Red sliders with nibble. My boy caught a few jiggin straight down, but most were on a slow retrieve. Water temp was 63.0 to 63.3. Every female was still full of eggs, soft and blood veins. They should be ready to go in that area any time. We didn't even try the banks at all...didn't need to!

Ya Frosty it's been great the past few weeks! Judging from the females we caught, they should be on the banks in that area this week. I seen a couple people catchin em off the banks today, but no where near the quantity we were. Hopefully next weekend we can hit em hard again, unless I sneak out when I get home from work during the week.
