I just realized why fishing was so lousy. The barometer was around 29.5 all day. Way too low.Originally Posted by IBNFSHN
We went to Tull's creek and had to give up. We caught 2 keepers and a lot of little ones. Then I don't know which was worse, the wind or the hail. I think that was the first time I ever fished in hail. Fortunately it was real small stuff. Oh well, maybe thursday.

I have found that the barometer needs to be around 30 and stable for 2-3 days for the fish to be active.
The storms must have stayed on the southside. We got nothing over here on the peninsula except a brief storm last night.
At least you got out, I spent the weekend pressure washing the exterior of the house and started changing the brake pads on my wife's car.
