Nice mount. I got one at the taxi right now. He should be ready in June. I generally let them pass, but he buzzed my at about 5 feet and I have a hard time saying "No" to that kind of temptation. He's only the second one I've killed in my life.

As far as table fare, I heard of some guys up at Reelfoot making some kind of stew out of rough ducks like mergansers, shovelers, and worst of all.......coots. Personally, I'd sooner eat a carp, but they said it was good.

Shovelers, scaup, and ringnecks aint that bad if they are cooked right, but I'll pass on the mergansers and coots thanks...

    Nice lawn dart.

You have successfully done about the only thing those birds are good for.. a mount. They make okay retrieving dummies for the dog on a slow day too.... but it has to be pretty slow. :D
