Night fishing

I need some help on how to night fish for crappie.I have 2 lights but I need to know the best places to put them out.I thougt about setting up on brushpiles in 16 feet of water.Any tips will be very apprecited.

That would work or under a bridge that leads to a major creek . Crappie will hang around out from the lights in the shadows,where as the bait fish will swim under and around your lights. Fish for them about 10 to 12 feet out from your lights
