    Tommorrow will be the perfect Crappie day... Heading out early to beat em up. The Males have moved in for pre Spawn where I am at. The last 65 Crappie have been Males and 1 Female with Eggs.

    Water Temps 62...
    70 for a high Mostly Sunny and winds only 5-10mph...

    Have report when I get in.

    Here you go had a little delay...

    Ended up with 34 decent sized crappie including this 14"...
    This is a Pic of my Thump.. You know you had a good day when it's Chapped up this bad!!!

    Last few times has been at Browns Lake in Salix Iowa.

    Crappies are moved in the Banks. The Males are beat up pretty bad with rooting and making Nests for the Mommas. Caught 64 Fish in the last 3 trips and caught 3 females that were full of eggs. So we are hitting them right at the beginning of the spawn... I suppose it is the same in the small ponds we run often here in the NW Iowa.
