Default Angler's Best Pro 80 Cordless Filet Knife ????

I am looking at the Angler's Best Pro 80 Cordless Filet Knife at Cabelas. My wife wants me go get away from manually fileting crappie, saying it takes too long. Does anyone have any experience with this knife?

I vote Mister Twister. They are cheap take a lot of abuse and have the best blades in my opinion.

Go get one,any kind, that girl cant wait for fresh fish.If you tell her to help you with the filleting it will be faster and she will probally not want them so quick. My wife only touche's fish with her mouth lol.In all seriousness I dont have a elec knife either and im eager to see the answer's as I am going to get one also.Tired of the miss'es telling me to hurry up.

I upgraded from manual to an 120v American Angler. Cheapo from Walmart. This will be the forth season with it and filleted MANY fish with it. Stripers, catfish, crappie, bluegill. Kinda smokes alittle on the big stripers but still runs. Thinking of buying some replacement blades soon. I have seen many bad reviews so maybe I got a good one.

    hey Jeff,
i have that exact knife from cabelas. i have had nothing but trouble with it. battery won t last long enough to do a limit of crappie. full charge not powerful enough to do a large walleye and one battery wont recharge after just one use. i would choose a 110 volt or a 12 volt electric. i went back to my american angler 110 v with the thin blades, it's great.

Get a 110 or 12 volt you will be much happier with it.
