    Default Prerigging

I got some 16-ft 3-piece rods that are a pain to put away with jigs and weight spanning 3-4 feet. Does anybody prerig Capps and Coleman rigs and what would be a good setup? I'm figuring just a swivel on the end of my line. then just add these when I hit the lake and be able to take them off when done. Thanks for any suggestions.

Pre rig and put them in a ziplock snack bag. You can store them in a side pocket of tackle box until needed. Be sure to put the bag back in box so you will have it to put your rig back in.

I found some 1" x 1" x 6' syrofoam blocks that I wrap mine on and stick the hooks in the foam. Works great. and once again, you better put the foam away or it'll blow out going across the lake.

Default Swim Noodles and Push Pins

I also use swim noodles cut into about 10 inch sections. Also get some push pins with large round heads and stick them into the ends of the noodle for storage. Tie a small swivel on the end of the leaders and use the push pins to attach them to the rounded part of the noodle and wrap the leader around the noodle embedding the hooks as you go. Store the entire thing in a large zip-lock bag. Works great.

Pool noodles work great! And since I work for a pool company, their real cheap too. Like someone said, make sure to put them away. They fly real good too.
