today i took a co worker out for his first time crappie fishing. i am superstitious about first time trips and cameras so i had to leave mine at home. well he slayed them and had a great time and i took pics when i got home

I was on White yesterday and the water temp was only 54.

I have been wanting to try wixom for a long time, I think i may try itright after this coming holiday weekend if this wind will ever let up long enough to get on the water' I just love fishing brush, and the thicker the better, is there anything like that on wixom?

I do understand why you are secretive about your spot but I thought part of the reason we all joined a crappie forum is share info on lakes and techniques, especially on where the crappie are biting! That being said, congrats! Nice pics.
C'mon, it's on his personal property. That's an invite only. If it were public access, that would be different.
Of course, I'll be up near Highwood next weekend... :D Just kidding.

Those are from public waters in Clare county. I usually have no problem sharing lake and technique info, but this paritcular spot was shown to me by a coworker with the promise that I keep it to myself. If you read other post of mine you will see I am pretty open about where I fish and am more than willing to give out informtion. In fact in a couple weeks I am meeting another of our members who is not even from Michigan to share some information, and looking forward to it very much. I am always looking for new fishing partners and would like to fish with anyone who happens to be in the area. I have a lot of speck holes that produce regularly, but as I said this particular one stays with me and the guy who showed me.
