    Default LOZ Big Niangua

Sort of a catch up message. Had a computer crash and lost everything on the hard drive. What a mess so no pictures - will try and get that going soon.

It has been good on this end of the lake. We really haven't found the big bunches in one spot, but catching a lot of quality fish. Mostly in 4' or less of water.

Glad to hear the KS camp was good, hope to get to camp soon. I bet that wind was brutal

Husker, aren't the grandkids catching crappie about as good as it gets?:D

    Mark,
Sorry 'bout your computer, that's a bummer!
Yes grandkids are a lot of fun. Ours are only 3 and 4 years old, but our son takes the 4 year old fishing close to where they live in the Kansas City area. He is getting to really like to fish, best thing they both like is to do is to 'throw the fish back in the water'.
Yes, the wind has been just horrible. Had to hang on to the little ones so they wouldn't be blown off the dock and too windy to take them out in the boat.
Did not even fish Sunday as I played in a golf outing, weather was fantastic!
Sounds like fishing has slowed a bit. We had a 2-person limit this weekend of 11" and better, and this has been the best fishing for quality crappie since we have been down here.
    Husker
the trick to catch that finnicky speck....
gently set the hook just before the peck
