    Default Golf now cheaper than fishing?


    it cost 30.00 bucks to golf local.50.00 to fish got to travel 35 miles to fish.Gas up 100 0/0 over the past 8 yrs will it end any time soon?I love fishing more then golf but now it's about choices the choice of giving up what we love or just giving up.........Let's just stop making the rich richer boycott all major oil companies that rape us it the pump.

    gosh I can't stand another hobby...so far the golf bug has not hit me.

    I like golf, but fishing is cheaper if you try. Golf is never cheap. Buy a kayak.

    That is true, but you still got to get there. I filled my truck up this weekend for the second time and it was $76. It was a great fishing trip but expensive, I guess I will go to the poor house because I won't stop going on fishing trips but I will think about it more now. In years past a little rain would never keep me in the house but now I would hate to be wet and broke.

    I do have to say if it cost me my whole paycheck each week I wouldnt give up fishing! Thats the only real fun I have. I like to Golf and other sports, Wakeboard, etc. But fishing is the most relaxing for me!

    I tried golfing one time and anyway you cook golfballs the are still stringy and taste like rubbver.

    I can not tell my butt from a hole in the ground so I don't play golf.

    They'd kick me off the course for fishin their ponds,like they did when I was a kid.lol

    I carry a fishing pole in my bag with my clubs. I often get told I'm not allowed to fish the course ponds and I always say "Oh, I didn't know" and stow my pole for the next pond. I can be forgetful sometimes.
