Shakespear 6#. You can buy it @ wal-mart for around 5 buck's and get 1000 yd spool.I change my line about every 4th trip because of the memory. I know some will say I change my line so often because I use cheap line. In my opinion all mono will hold memory and why pay 6 to 10 buck's for 250yd's. I have never caught a 3lb crappie to test my cheap line but I have caught a few 5lb smallmouth and havent lost one yet to line breaking. You can also stretch your line to remove some of the memory but im sure you know that.I do have one rod that is worse than the other's because of the top eye being bulky.Just my opinion on this matter.

Cool Suffix Elite High Vis Yellow

Some of the guys on here talked me into trying some of this in 6#. It is without a doubt the best line I have ever put on a reel. I used to use Trilene XL. It's good line too but IMHO it can't touch the Suffix.

I just switched to Suffix Hi Vis about 2 months ago and it is worth the price. If you don't want to pay that much the Mr Crappie is good budget line. I only use the suffix on my jig casting rods.
