Wink Right angled panfish and crappie chummed up with dirt

How's that for getting your attention? Anyway I have been notiicing that 99% of panfish, Crappie and Bream included will instinctively turn to their right when attacking a bait offering. Knowing that tidbit you can position yourself in the boat or on the bank so that you have room for a gentle sweep to your left to set the hook that millimeter of a second faster. I also noticed thhhat if you are fishing and Bream is biting redworms and slows down, you can scrape off about 1/2 inch of dirt from your worm container and chum the water or new waters with it. They have a great sense of smell and it starts another feeding frenzy.

    Thumbs up interesting

    Very interesting observation Ship.
When I am on the hunt for gills in our local canal, I am pretty mobile. The wife is more prone to sitting in one place, even when the bite is slow. She sometimes matches my catch though.
I have always accused her of just stinking up the water with wax worms till they turn on. lol It works well for her in most cases.
I'll have to try it with the red worm dirt next time she uses them.
Right finned bluegills hmmmm, never gave it a thought. Thanks, Mike
