Default Is it true? (the missing link)

I was chatting with a local Mercury dealer this afternoon and he informed me that Crestliner is now building Triton metal boats.

The two boats sure look a lot alike.

I know the Brunswick conglomerate owns Lowe, Lund, Triton, Crestliner, Mercury Marine, and other boats. They are collecting clover like Tracker Marine. ha

I sure hope Brunswick don't mess up the boats like they did Harley Davidson back in the 1970's... They almost ruined the Harley name with cheap production and big bucks for the stockholders. Basic greed.

    Any thoughts or facts here?

They also own Fountain power boats and Albemarle offshore sportfishing boats. Those were local private owned boat companies in Eastern N.C. Now corporate America. CF

Tom there also not shipping all the parts with the boats also.
A guide ordered the New Triton tin 20ft boat. That Triton more or less gives him. And he had to wait 3 weeks on some of the parts that they left out from the factory.
Also if the rest are like Lund. You will hear that you can not get a boat without a Mercury or the Honda for one more year.
Well I got mine with the E-Tec and now I know of a few more that has them also. So if a dealer tells you Mercury only, Check with a different dealer.
