Hi guys,
My website, http://www.fishing-headquarters.com will be hosting its 2nd annual Panfish Angling Tournament - held for the Sunfish and Crappie species of fish. We held our first tournament last year in July, 2007. Roughly 10 people registered and approximately 6 of us placed in the standings. It was a great time - but too bad more people didn't join.

The 2008 tournament will be held from June 1, thru June 31, 2008
The competition will be based on a points and size limit system, so the more you catch and if it meets size regulations, the more probable it is you will win. Winner will win some pretty good prizes for this one. Those anglers participating in this tournament will have a chance to place in the Fishing Headquarters Angler of the Year standings as we have five tournaments scheduled for 2008 and the individual with the most points from the tournaments combined will win this award for our braggin' rights.
To view a list of our rules, guidelines and acceptable species, please click the following link posted below:: http://www.fishing-headquarters.com/...pic.php?t=1905
In order to participate in this fun event, you must be a registered member of http://www.fishing-headquarters.com , and you must visit the link below to officially register for this event. It takes 15 seconds to register to the site, and less than 5 seconds to register for tournament.

In a Crappie tournament, I always thought it a good idea to pay the winners in Crappie.
Sort of a 70%, 20%, 10% split.
Dont see any rules, and very little details. Need more info.
I'm in it. The rules will be posted later as the tourney gets closer as well as an official badge or something that has to be in the picture of your fish I would think. Just go over there, join up and keep checking back into their site for details.
Exactly!
We don't post the rules and regs until 1 week prior to the start to prevent potential cheating nor do we want anyone to gain a preliminary advantage over anyone else. Sounds kind of weird, but trust me, it isn't. With a 1-week notice, it gives anglers the opportunity to do some pre-fishing and practicing.
For a general idea, here are last year's rules and regs. Pretty simple and self-explanatory. A few minor additions and subtractions will be made this year but nothing too significant. http://www.fishing-headquarters.com/...opic.php?t=943
Tournament patch will not be posted until 12am midnight when tourney first begins.
Thanks guys. Hope to see you join!
