    put the hurtin on a nice batch of specks yesterday, only 45 degrees and windy but that did not stop us from hitting them hard

    Nice fish with a bonus northern. Did you catch the pike on crappie gear, cause I bet that was a fight.:D

    landed the pike on 4 pound test, 1/64 oz chartreuse jig , tipped with 2 berkley power wigglers

    we were on a pretty big lake, actually a reservoir,

    The weather doesn't seem so bad when your catching fish. If there not biting its cold.

    Cold and windy here in PA too, but i found the fish and they were very agressive. C&R over 80 and kept 30 for the family. Got most with the "old reliable jig" from microspoons.com.
