Went out yesterday under cloudless skies...temps in the upper 70s...fished from sunrise to about noon...slow action trolling the gravel banks on Flat Creek, so decided to fish newly-submerged cover along the banks with minnows...pulled at least 2-3 nice slabs out of every piece of brush I could find...saw a fellow who did nothing but troll red curly-tailed grubs up and down the main channel all morning long...when I asked how he was doing, he pulled up a stringer with the biggest slabs I've seen in a while...obviously, they have moved off the banks temporarily, but should return around the full moon....good luck to all....
