Thumbs up Nice crappie rig out of Michigan

Has anyone else been using the perch and crappie rigs from K&E Tackle out of Michigan. They work great for slow trolling, and don't tangle very easily. They are really strong, I landed a 30 plus pound flat head catfish on one after it swollowed both hooks. My brother introduced me to them. He got them at Bass Pro in Portage In. Couldn't find them here in Tn. so had to order them from Anglers Mart. They are worth a look.

Ditto as well! Now I'm curious. Can you order them or view on the internet?

I used to use a form of crappie spreader such as that years ago.
Time and money made it so I couldn't afford to buy the rigs anymore so I adapted.
Started using the ole loop and dropper techinque most all use today for alot less money.
Besides that, I don't have to worry about running out of them.

The stopper lures link is correct. I like them because they're cheep, they don't tangle, the #4 hook is just the right size, and the bead in front of the hook come in diferent colors. I have red, white, chartruse, and orange beads. I only wish they came with red true turn hooks. The price isn't bad when ordered in the six packs.

It looks like a bottom rig I use for saltwater fishing... I tie my own and could make the same thing for next to nothing...
Learn a good loop knot, get a pack of the hooks you want, different color beads and go at it. If you or anyone else wants me to make you some the way you want them with the red hooks and your choice of color beads and whatnot, shoot me a PM or email. [email protected]
