    Default The wave

I grew up fishing in Ky and Tn and we always waved to other boats as we passed on the lake. I went to Michigan a few years ago and as we went down the lake I waved to all and for the most part got no response.
Whats the count here, do you wave?

I wave at everyone. Mostly to be friendly and say hello....but also to make sure they see me in my canoe!

I wave as much as possible but I just have hand speed control so sometimes can't spare a hand when planeing and have to yell at my wife to do it

It seems like the most likely people to not wave here in Florida atleast are bass fishermen who are doing very badly, the ones that just stare at you evily while still pitching there plastic craw or lizard in some weeds. Sometimes they'll just spit like thats some new kind of wave lol

Wave for me, or at least the ol head raise howdy. Unless they drive over the cover I'm fishin' then they get the ol shake of the head in dissapproval and the words clearly said "Dumb A.." Occasionally complimented with the "California Howdy".

    I wave.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
