I have come to the conclusion, It's because he cast to a new spot every 5 seconds. we ended up with 14. The three largest were 11.5",12",and12.5".. Still havent broke 13", which is my largest fish I caught last year.

Nice bunch of crappie! And not to tell you what to do, Dad, but I would, just to be safe, put a life jacket on Kane!! We wouldn't want anything to happen to our future crappie fisherman!

Yeah i'm busted regarding the life jacket. There is one in the canoe, and he did wear it the majority of the time, but no excuses. 9 out of 10 people that drowned do not have a pfd on. I let the little man get his own way that day, and I need to own it, step up and be more stearn. Thanks for the reminder guys.
