    Default pitot tube


    broken off pitot tube for speedometer how do i replace it? i have 2000 pro crappie 25hp merc. plus the side bunk rails seem to be rotten do the roller type ones work better to load the boat? wife has a hard time trying to load it back on the trailer and sometimes she gets on top of the side bunks. thanks kevin

    The pick up is actually 2 pieces if I remember correctly. The part that extends down into the water can be replaced without replacing the mount. There is just spring metal that holds tension on the piece that extends into the water so that it can pivot if it hits something. Just hold the springs back and snap the new one in.
    This is just from memory so I hope its correct info.

    I have a 2002 PT175 and my speedometer hasn't worked in a couple years now. I let the other boats that blow by me tell me how fast I'm going....SSSLLLOOOWWW!
