Got a new fishing partner!

I took my 7 year old today for her first try at crappie. She has been fishing with me on and off in ponds and off the bank at Barkley, but this was her first time in the boat. Well, we all know about beginners luck and she had it. She caught 12 keepers and I played hook baiter. Maybe the best fishing trip of my life. So many memories of fishing trips with my late dad and late grandfather flooded my mind giving me a sense that my life is coming full circle. I saw the look of pure joy in her eyes and felt the heart swelling love of making memories that will last her a lifetime.
