    Smile LOZ Big Niangua

Fun day on the water. The color is near perfect the temperature was warm and we caught a few crappie. :D

Water temp went from 57 up to 62.5 in the afternoon. Cleaned 12, nothing big but a couple of 11+" blacks. All were males except 2. Used a Bobby Garland Emerald Baby Shad. All were within 15' of the bank. Another boat from our condo had 30 between 3 guys, so the fun is starting

Should be a fun week down on this end. And by the way, some dogwoods are in bloom and they will really open up in the next couple of days.

Sounds like you got into them pretty good, Mark!

The water is warming up fast now with the water being dark and the 80+ degree day we had yesterday and the warm days before that. The warmer nights help, too. We got a nice shower this morning, but by this afternoon the water will be warmer than it was yesterday. The clearing of the water may be delayed by the runoff, but I am glad that the water up by you is clearing! The water here looked better yesterday than it has for a long time.

    Good Luck to all!:D

Wow, 62.5 deg! I saw some 57 deg in the Gravois on Sunday, so it should be awsesome this week/weekend.
