LOZ this weekend

I fished the Gravois and caught about ten solid keepers on Sat. Trolling motor cable broke on Sat evening so most of Sunday morning was spent fixing that. I caught the fish on Slabbusters in pink and chart. with 1/16th horsehead jig. with the majority of them coming offf brush and docks in about 2-3' down in water no deeper than 10' and as shallow as 4-5'. Sunday I only caught about 3 and left fairly early, and it did seem that any one with a boat in a 100sq. mile radius was on the water Sunday. The main channel looked like Memorial Day.

The word on the lake last weekend was that the Gravios had clearer water than most other parts. I fished the Glaize area and the water was chocolate brown.
