Default only a couple this eve, pics

snuck out for couple hours after work this eveinig to try some fresh spots, water is still cold around here so it can be really hit or miss,, I did manage to find a small branch that had fallen into 8 inches of water on the north west side of a dark bottom canal and it had fish. I could see 25 or 30 fish but only managed to land a few keepers before they spooked and went into deeper water, caught them this evening on a 1/64 oz chartreuse jig with a black mister twister exude grub

Slabs, what is that your fishing in? Looks like it has a comfortable seat in it. Native watercraft ultimate?

Yup, I just looked it up. I'm very interested in how that boat is with a single in the back like your using it. Do you stand up in it like they say you can?

sure can stand in it. i own a couple different kayaks and so far like this one for fishing the best. the only down side is that it has no rolled hull so you have to be careful in rough water. waves have a tendacy to want to come over the side. it rides very good sitting in the back but you can also slide the rear seat forward to center the weight. mine is the ultimate 14.5 double seater, they also make a 12 single, but i much prefer the double. it is just as easy to maneuver and has much more room. I can easily handle another adult with fishing gear.
