Default Crappie Pics From Friday Evening and Saturday mid day

The wife and I went out after she got home from work Friday for a bit and then after it warmed up yesterday we went out about 11:00 for a couple of hours. It was a little tough and we ended up trolling in 15'-20' of water. I really couldn't believe they had left the 8'-11' I was catching them in last week, but they were not there any longer.

The big one is a real fatty being almost 15" and 1 3/4 pounds.

Oh and one green carp the wife caught.

    Thanks guys!

One thing different was they were really great fighters. Even the smaller ones pulled extra hard. I don't remember ever thinking a small one like a 10" er would make me ask for the net before I saw him, LOL! However that is just what happened one time. That big one pulled so hard I was really afraid he would pull off.

Oh and forgot to say I had to change from blue and chart to blue and white. I did that because of the water being a lot more clear than where I had been fishing.

One other note.... I caught fish in 4 spots last week or so and 3 for the 4 I had never fished at all and the other I had not fished in 2 years so you never know.

Nice fish, skip. I caught a few today also, and I got bit the hardest today also. A big fat female with eggs oozing out of her really clobbered my jig. I was using an 11' BnM and a jig and bobber, and I retrieved the bobber to within about 20' and she nailed it.
