Default Found them in Duck lake, Allegan Co.

It took me about a hour and a half to figure them out, but when I did it was great! Lost as many as I boxed. Gills required quick trigger, but the specks had to mouth it a while. They didn't want minners, or worms. Caught them all on an 8-1/2' 4 weight flyrod tipped w/ a silver and black. If you're a tight liner, next time try a flyrod. Can't beat it! :D:D

    great fish there yankee,
It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D

Yeah, I haven't fished the duck lake up in muskegon co. yet. Temps at duck in allegan co. are hovering right below 60 deg. Am taking my good luck charm and guide (wife) with me tonight after work. Hope to have more pics and revised report tomorrow.

I just loved how you snuggled up to your 'guide' there.

People do great (so I've herd) on Duck. I'm a life long fisherman and leisure person on that dang lake.
The nearest thing to a big fish there?
SCUBA diving and coming face to face with one of the biggest northerns, I've ever seen.
A friend of mine (that does not lie:rolleyes catches crappie out of there big time.
I've always only used miners, up until now.
Skip, Ship, Griz and all there lying buddies ( I apologies to the ones that don't fit the descriptions):D:D
have convinced me to try my own tied jigs. Well,,,,,, not so good yet.
I haven't had the courage to post any pic's of my ,,,,,,endeavors just yet. Some look kinda like they may have some potential. Most,,,,,,,,,NOT.

I'll post some pics, hopefully tomorrow of my catch.
You do the same. I really enjoy seeing other peoples catches.
    Mike
