    Default Raccoon Lake


    Indy and i caught limit of keepers fri at raccoon. Fish from 10-13 inches they were on the wood in 7-10 feet of water hitting jigs. Great day on the lake.Now just got to spend 1.5 hours cleaning fish!

    I fished Raccoon this afternoon from about 3:30 - 8. Fished minnows under floats and did some jigging. Only two keepers, one 11" and one 9.5" and about a dozen dinks. Water temp was 58. Caught most fish in 17FOW 8-12' deep. Water is still pretty murky. Lake level is at or near summer pool.

    That was alot of fun Jimbo!!! Me and the wife went back out saturday and sunday and caught 25 nice keepers each day not to mention the white bass and small ones we threw back. Didnt find any mushrooms though, so I guess its crappie and taters this week lol.
