Humminbird 565 for about $180.00. This bird does it all. Comes with a transom dual transducer. If you want a trolling motor transducer, it will run another $65.00. You can have both worlds here with the transom and trolling transducer hook-up, with a flip of a switch.

Over the years I've use H'bird, Garmin, Eagle and Lowrance and there are lots of great Sonar units from all of them. My absolute favorite in that price range however is the Lowrance X135.
