    While I have not done very well on this pattern yet, many others say they have so I will put it up here since I put it up on another board. The idea I think is to tie in the bottom part of a hen feather by the webby or soft marabou like portion for the tail, dub a body over the tied down feather with the front portion facing forward and finish with a hackle collar using the front portion of the same feather behind the beadchain eyes.

    Now that looks like a real fish catcher! I'll have to tie a few of those, especially in olive. I think olive is one of the better colors for wet-flies for 'gills. Thanks man for posting that fly, I'll definitely refer to it.
