Nothing better than getting out on the water.

Was down below dam on Wed and it looked as if no one wanted to get out in the wind, everyone stayed in the cove where you put in. We stayed there for about 30 min. and then took boat ride down the current. There were a lot of spoon bill folks out there. Stopped at the cove where you put in at Warsaw and caught a nice mess of 26 crappie in a few hours. Was out of the wind for the most part and it was a great day to be on the water. Docked the boat and walked up to the View for some beverages and lunch. Finally had a pretty good day on the water. Now the rain comes.
any size to them????

They were nicer ones than usual, they were fat. Only measured and kept a few small ones and there weren't any huge ones just good sized crappies. They were in less than 10' of water and about 5' - 7' down on a steep bank right next to shore and were aggressive. Never changed from the 1/16 oz red and chart jig. Had a good fish fry with the family.
