Heading to the Crappie Hole

Tomorrow is the big highlight of the crappie season. Wife and I will rise and shine early so we can be on the lake at 7:a.m The boat is all gassed up (although I don't use much gas on this lake), batteries charged, trolling motor has been checked (must have the 24 volts) as it will be sorta windy on the lake. Don't have to worry too much of high winds, due to the location of this...secret/hidden lake, as main body of the lake faces east/west.

This lake has three large beaver dens, and crappie love those for some reason. Last spring we caught 28 big (average 13") crappie from these dens. Last fall we caught 35 big crappie just from one beaver hideout.
The lake water might be a little cool for these fish, but it's coming full moon in a few days, and crappie spawn on a full moon.

Will report the highlights upon returning.

BTW. this is lake is located in Kansas. A top secret lake.
