    Default Need a crappie recipe when camping


    Anyone have a good recipe for cooking crappie when camping? I'd like to try something that could be cooked in the campfire coals.

    Fillet fish
    Wash fish
    Season to taste
    Wrap fish loosly in foil including butter and a few onions
    Throw on fire (This part wont take too long so becareful) maybe 8 min tops

    Yep, just like that, maybe with a little fresh lemon juice squeezed on.

    If you can scrape sum of the lemon zest that would be nice to.

    Yep, just like that, maybe with a little fresh lemon juice squeezed on.


    Both ideas are freekin outstanding, good job guys. I will be malikg a penciled in adjustment to this recipe card
