    Up here in Western MA. The bite is on.I'm still layed off,so I've been out almost everyday.I have landed 72 Crappies on one outing and average at least 20-30 each time.While all these other "fishermen" are targeting stocked Trout,we are hammering Crappies.Of course I get the occational Trout on the Crappie rigs. The Large Mouths are hitting pretty well too.

    Same deal here in Upstate NY Joe - cold and high water. Caught a 30 or so in an hour Saturday, but all but one were too small to keep. They were hitting real well though. at one point it got so I couldn't reel them in and release them fast enough while working two rods, so had to pull one in just to keep up with them.
