If we get the forecasted temps. here on Truman look out. It may take until midweek but this coming weekend should be the start of some great fishing on Truman. I am impressed with the size of fish this year also on Truman. I heard from the old timers that the flood last year was going to help with the quality of fish. I think it has. I wonder they say about to years in a row of floods. Next years size may be better.

    Default LOZ Wed 4/16

I will be going to LOZ Wed. and try my luck with Bill "aka crawdad". We'll be putting in at the State Park or below the dam. Not sure yet.

I,ve never fished or even seen Truman before but heard great things about it. Is it high and muddy like the rest.

Yes it is high and some arms are muddier than others. But the fish are close if we can get some steady weather.

They have been 8 to 10 ft. down in 18 to 25 ft. of water for some time now. If we can get the water temp up some they will be moving to the banks.

Where is a good place to put in at. What arm or creek is clear enough to fish. I got a topo somewhere I,ll check it out. How far from St louis to the ramp any idea. Is there any public docks that allow fishing from them.
