Nice pics sounds like a awsome time and some decent fishing, welcome back to the great white cold north country.
Well the weather was definitely in control of the fishing once again...the water was high as expected, but on the recede. The fish we did catch were all suspended in 20-25' @ 12-16'. Wife did best w/ naked hook and minnow. Fished Ledbetter creek on 4/5-6 and caught just a few over the limit of 10", then on Monday 4/7 which was sunny (amazing!) and 75 degrees and low winds, we ran up the lake a mile or so to Jonathan creek where we caught a dozen or so over the limit. Nothing close to the 15" range. Possibilities of tornados, etc. sent us packing on Wed. morn east and north to Hardy lake in sourthern IL where we caught a few more and some smallies. Couple of pics for you guys...and sorry we ate what we caught so no slabs for you

looks like you made the best of the tough conditions.
thanks for posting picks, I fished the cusa classic at kentucky last fall, we found lots of fish , but no big ones, we tried johnathon creek on day and got a few but it was a long run from the weigh in

Boat ran great. Only had to pull the motor up once to clean debris outa the intake. Amazing how little sh_t can drop your power on those jets! I shoulda had my video cam with us on Monday when we ran up to Jonathan. We were trolling in 6' of water in the middle of the woods trying to find fish nosed up to the trees. What a hoot! The ones we did catch were all females full of eggs so spawn hadn't happened yet. Looks like we were a week or so early this year. Next year, right!?!
