    Default I hate this.........

    Spring.

Couldn't wait for it to get here and all it's been is cold high water, mud, cold fronts every three days and lousy fishing.

Hmmm, sounds a lot like last spring, and the one before that and......

We all get cabin fever in the winter and long for the warm sunshine and gentle breezes of spring, spawning fish in every bush... and then we wake up and realize that spring fishing can be some of the best and worst of the year.
    More worst than best.

I caught more fish in Feb. than I did in March. What I really long for is the good stable fishing of summer, fall and winter. FORGET SPRING.

See ya, I'm going to the lake to catch some spawning slabs.
    Good fishing.

Catch a few for me. Got weather that came through again early this morning. Dang muddy water everywhere. I did catch some decent LMB yesterday in muddy water so maybe things are looking up or the fish are just getting used to it... LOL.

Right on. I have sure enjoyed times while winter fishing were one can go out and hammer the crappie for a couple months at a time.
I also find the spawn fish rather frustrating one day they are easy and the very next day I can't catch them.

Also winter fishing. No wave runners or not as many as summer time. And not a bunch of people out playing on the water.
No bugs.. Come to think of it. I also like winter time better also.

Although any fishing is good fishing, I agree - I'm always glad for
    the spawn to be over.
