I've caught a few below Logan Martin dam. Average about 8 to 10 lbs, my largest is 18 lbs. But I saw a couple over 30 lbs caught in mid March. Fish jigs or live shad when the turbines are running.

Some big fish up in Choccolocco Creek, but I don't normally fish that far up river.

I fish for them top water early in the mornings on Pickwick, below the dam. Man, nothing like a 15-20 pound stripe hitting a top water. Increadible.

Over here on the Chattahoochee we are knocking them down. A few buddies and myself, really had a blast. We let loose countless. Lost some really big ones too, have to upgrade that line for the next outing. These came from below Riverview Dam in Valley, Alabama, anyone heard of there? They've got fast hot big striper, hybrid action, unbelieveable.
