    We are heading to Truman Lake this weekend. Does anyone know what the crappie are doing in the Bucksaw area?

    There are always fish to be found in the Bucksaw area. Be sure to use scent. Larger, dark colored baits are a plus in the darker water also. Blk and Char is my favorite Bucksaw area color.

    They've shut the dam and the water is coming up ~2 feet per day.

    Have not heard of any fish being caught the last half of this week. The wife and I took a ride yesturday to check things out around Bucksaw. Be prepared for high muddy water.

    I talked to Richard Bowling at Bucksaw this moring and he told us not to come up this weekend. Lake is supposed to crest at 724 thats 18 over pool. They are going to open the dam up and start pulling water.Grand got alot of rain so its going to be extremly muddy. If you go good luck and be careful.
