Reply With Quotely lake does have excellent fishing. if you will be living in sylacauga , i would suggest lake martin. it will be just south of you on 280 . it has great fishing also.

I am moving to Sylacauga this summer to do my summer internship at Farmlinks Golf Club. Although I know I want have very much time to fish I was wondering if there was any good lakes to fish around there such as Lay Lake ect......

You will find that you will be close to a lot of good lakes in South Alabama. Most all of them hold good fish.

good, I will be without my boat for the first couple weeks but the first weekend I have off I am probably going to try to meet my parents at my sisters house in B-ham with it so I can get out there and get after some crappie
