    Default LOZ Sat Tournament

A guy and his friend who works with my wife fished a crappie tournament last Saturday on LOZ (sponsored by Cental Bank in Lebanon?) 65 boats in the tournament - they launched at Larry Gale and ran up into Glaize - he said the lake is really bad - debree and floating logs to dodge - could only see a few inches and even if you could get your jig in the water, the line would hang up on the debree in the water. They did manage to catch 10. They loaded their boat and drove right past Windemere where the weigh in was, but didn't stop cause they didn't think they had a chance. After they got back to their place and started taking the fish out of the livewell, they noticed that some of the few fish they caught were nice, but still didn't go weigh in. He called later to see what won the tournament and only 10 of the 65 boats had fish or weighed in and about 8 lbs won. He was sick all weekend - knowing that more than likely they had at least 8 lbs or at least enough to have gotten in the money.

Moral to the story - weigh in regardless!:D

And now....it is raining again - just what we need.....NOT

May not have to weigh in, but you always check the leader board before you release your catch or clean them.

Yep you always..always weigh your fish. Another tournament that same day on the same lake, it took over 11 pounds and they had big fish of a 1.98, out of the gravois.
