Welcome. I'd go to Truman, Bucksaw area and hire Richard Bowling for a day. You will hammer 'em and then you can go back the next day and fish all the spots he showed you. That's a quick way to come up to speed on what to do and where. Good fishing.
I get an extra week of vacation this year & am going to spend it fishing for Crappie. I live about 4 miles from Thomas Hill Lake but would like to try some different lakes this spring. Although fishing is good here, you have to work your tail off to get a stringer full of any size. I have been wanting to take my dad & my son down to the Truman or Pome de Tere area & try some of those lakes. Problem is, I don't have a clue on where or when to go for some good crappie action. If anyone from down in that area could help me out, that would be great! Thanks for your help.

I'd be more than happy to take you on Pomme. Pomme is just about one hour south of Truman, perhaps you could hit both. Send me an PM if you're interested.
