Went this weekend to leeville. We caught a bunch of 10-11 trout and 5-6 rat reds. kept nine this morning and threw back about 50. One speck 3 lbs 21 inches.

Those are great, I fished the surf one day, during the full moon in april and caught a limit of 2-5lb trout, been back a few times since and havent caught much.When that place is on its on!

Really nice catch!! I need to get down to the coast and do a little saltwater fishing this summer.

Arms might have been tried but i think it was from the aluminum cans.

Thanks for posting those pictures Josh. Ya put a smile on my face. I've spent a lot of time fishing that area and staying at Boudreaux's motel. Your truck parked at the front door and you boat tied to a dock out of your back door. Sweet! Maybe Katrina messed that up too though. Its hard to believe it used to be Orange groves as far as the eye could see around there before some earlier storms wiped them out. Lots of great fishing but its best if you can steal a sticker off off someones boat to let you into the leased marshes. Not that I would ever do that but I know someone who did (insert smiley face here). Don Stamper
