fish kill on Weiss

Anyone know anything about this kill on Spring creek

The shad died due to the cold front on Thursday.

This will happen when the shad are in shallow water and a sudden surface temp change happens.

No this is different. Check Kellys website. He says a run off from a hay field or cow pasture maybe the blame. Ala.fish and game were in there this evening trying to find the source

I went back in there yesterday and checked it - still alot of yellow bass, small largmouth, shad and drum floating dead. I was catching killer stringers of crappie in there before this happen - I think the crappie new something was wrong and moved out because there are hardly any dead crappie floating. Maybe we will hear about the source of this kill before to long
