Anyone heard from the raiders yet? Will not be long now until the full scale raid. Also looks like we will be hearing about some round ball from the locals there.

    Default Just got home

Well, we had a great time even though we got blasted by the wind all weekend. Caught a few fish, had a few laughs. I just think that they put Kansas a hell of a long way from Burfordville, which was a little short sighted on their part.:D It was good to see Jeff and Ed again and finally meet Bob. As is tradition, Big Daddy took us to school. It must have been the seat he was in.:p Jeff found a good one Saturday morning in Manns Cove. I didn't have my camera in the boat with me, so no action shots. Sorry. Jeff should have a few if he can find his camera. Anyway, here's some "after" photo's from Saturday evening waiting for the Kansas game to come on. Thanks Slayer, Baller and bwillaub for putting up with us. Duane and I had a great time.

Again, we have suckered the Missouri Raiders to an "unproductive" lake to fish. It's an old Kansas strategy we have here to boast about a lake, when we know it's on the down slide. We know the technique to lead these "wanders" to a lake that we Kansans know--- not worth spending time there.

Our secret lake... about 183 acres, average depth 26 feet... two big coves, with four coves feeding into the two, produces white crappie up to 16"... 50 per day creel.

Where is this lake, you ask? Somewhere is southeast Kansas... Zone 5... Major highway nearby.
