    Default Oh,hail,yeah!


    We just got pounded with a 2 minute hailstorm(10:01 am),nothing huge,pea size at best-thank goodness I pulled my 20,000$ car out of the garage and got my 200$ mower and 800$ boat in the garage just in time

    I got my priorities!!:D

    I hate hail had almost 7K of damage on a car with only 12K in damage on it a couple years ago. Was the first brand new (and last) I have ever purchased. Just not the same after all the damage. Hope that storm does not make it this way

    I ain't ever had a new car,last 15-20 years I've been buying program cars(lease/rental/etc..)save big bucks and most of them last me 200,000 miles.
    Got a PT Cruiser in '04with 18K mile,have 186,000 now:Dfinally had to get brakes on it.-and 3 sets of tires and untold oil changes,thats about it.

    cook I looked at used cars in the model I wanted those with low miles and less than two years old were almost the same price I could buy a new one. In fact the dealer had one on the lot with 14K that was the same price as the new one I purchased. It's not three years old yet and paid off with 40K miles on it. I should be able to get 200K miles out of it:D
