Just got back. I stayed a while to fish today to increase my knowledge of the lake.

Dad and I took 15th with 8.42lbs. My best stringer yet for 7 fish. But did not compare to the 10 and 11 lbs. others brought in.

Fished a back up area today and my friend pulled a 2lber in. We had three fish in two hours the weighed over 4 1/2 lbs. Maybe would have done better.
Now I have another area to check for the next tournament.

We were the highest placing boat in the Ranger Cup. Scored me some $$ for that. My thanks to TAB for helping me sign up for it.

I'll post a pic of the 2lber tomorrow. Gotta get some rest.

    I'm plumb tuckered.

Hard to believe the size difference between the 1.5 lb fish on the left and the 2.0 lb sow on the right.
The big girl was only 15 ½ “ long. Big shoulders and a big, big belly.

Our little group put over 400 fish in the boats in three days.
Average fish were running 14 - 16 oz.

They are having another tournament next year around the same time.
I’m definitely going to be there Lord willing and the creeks don’t rise.
