    Default Fishfinder ?

Does anyone rotate their fishfinder when in the front? Is there a base to accomplish same? When fishing pads and grass my finder isn't even on, but now that close fishing is mostly over and it's time to go deep it would be nice to see the presentation without putting another finder up front.--shu

Yes, you can buy a gimbal bracket swivel. Cost around $15 for my lowrance. My humminbird also has a quick disconnect if you wanted to mount two transducers and move it from the front to the back of the boat too.

I rely on my bow mounted fish finder to put me over structure and find the drop offs and ledges so I don't think I could look back in the boat all day. Besides you can pick up an inexpensive finder for less than $100 if you had too.

This is what I've always used (I've always had Eagle/Lowrance products) --

or do a search for "Johnny Ray Swivel Mount" (and check to see if someone else is carrying them, and sells cheaper than BPS).
