    Thumbs up Mississippi River L & D 15

The Crappie are stacked up below L & D 15 -around the Rythmn City Boat, and behind in the slip stream and eddy areas. They are feeding specifically on the hoards of Moon-eye fry that are schooling in huge numbers in these areas. I have been catching some real decent fish there lately, some well over a pound.

If you are after Bluegill, the bite is really on in these same spots as well. Leaches and wax worms are beating artificials and crawlers hands down. Limits of 'gills are being taken without much problem.

    Full baskets to ya!

    Unhappy

The bite here has slowed down considerably. Still catching some fish, but not limits. Most Crappie & 'gills that are being taken from behind the rollers are now hitting between 7pm & 1am on 1" White Berkley Power Tubes. The Crappie have been running less than 13", and the 'gills are from 6-9" for the most part.
